Family-Friendly Dental Services

In Washington & Oregon

Our team at Pacific Crest Smiles,is dedicated to helping every patient have an enjoyable, positive experience at the dentist‚ especially children! We understand the importance of building a positive, trusting relationship with children at a young age so they can maintain healthy smiles for life. We offer a number of amenities and bonuses for children so that both you and your child have a pleasant experience with our family dentistry offices.

Family Dentistry with Your Child in Mind

One of the ways we help your child feel more comfortable during their visit is by explaining any needed treatments in a simple, kid-friendly way. We also let them see the equipment we will use and even have them “assist” us during their visit. Helping your child learn how to keep their smile healthy and strong is one of our greatest goals.

Creating a Fun, Relaxing Environment

Many of our offices also have play areas for children. If they need to wait for you or their siblings at our office, they can have fun with educational books and games that help entertain them while they’re here. Most of our team members have children and grandchildren of their own, and we are happy to take the extra steps needed to provide our young patients with the best experience possible!

Frequently Asked Questions

When should my children have their first dental visit?

It is generally recommended that a child’s first dental visit be scheduled around their first birthday or when their first tooth grows in, whichever happens first

We want children to have positive experiences in our offices and not associate the dentist with scary things. That’s why we use the “Tell, Show, Do.” method to explain to kids exactly what will happen during their treatment in a friendly, reassuring way. We also have other relaxing services to help with dental anxiety like music, movies, and warm blankets.

Most children begin losing their baby teeth around six years old. However, it’s normal for some children to lose their first tooth as early as four years old or as late as seven years old, depending on how fast their adult teeth begin growing in.

Smiles Dental offers a number of flexible payment options, and accepts many popular insurance plans. If we don’t have your provider listed or you don’t have insurance, feel free to give our office a call and we will be happy to assist you.
